Semmering is located approx. 90 km south of Vienna and 110 km from Graz and is easily accessible via the motorway or motorway. Just 3.5 km after the Maria Schutz (Lower Austria) and Spital am Semmering (Styria) motorway exits, you reach the Semmering Pass (900 metres above sea level). There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the valley station. Four charging stations are available for electric vehicles. These are located in the immediate vicinity of the former Ringhotel and offer electric car owners a convenient way to charge their vehicles during their stay.

Trains run regularly over the Semmering from all major railway stations in Austria and the surrounding countries. All train connections for the selected day can be found on the ÖBB timetable information. From Semmering train station, you can either walk to the Semmering valley station in around 20-25 minutes, take the RUFbus or a taxi.

The RUFbus Semmering-Rax is a unique mobility service in the Semmering-Rax region. It takes all holiday and day guests from the train stations to the accommodation, cable cars and hikes free of charge or at low cost. This means you can travel to the Semmering Hirschenkogel in comfort and stress-free.
Trips are available daily from 9.00 – 18.00 from June and from 8.30 – 19.30 in July and August. It is necessary to book journeys in advance via the hotline or the app.
