From what age can the climbing park be used?

In the Hirschenkogel forest ropes course, anyone aged 6 and over and over 110 cm tall can climb.

Are children allowed to use the mountain carts?

Children from a height of 130 cm (with an accompanying person, with their own mountain cart) may use the mountain carts. The mountain carts at Bikepark Semmering are only suitable for one person.

Is it compulsory to wear a helmet when using the mountain carts?

Yes, helmets are compulsory. You can either bring your own helmet or hire one for €4.00 per person.

Is the NÖ Card valid at the Semmering-Hirschenkogel cable cars?

Yes, the NÖ Card is only valid in summer. Every NÖ Card holder receives one ascent and descent, forest ropes course entry and Millennium Jump per person per season free of charge.

Winter Season

Can the 3-hour ticket be redeemed at any time?

The 3-hour ticket can be redeemed at any time during the day operation (09:00-16:00). During night operation, only the night ticket is valid.

Can you go tobogganing with a dog?

Tobogganing with dogs is prohibited! In the gondola, dogs are allowed if they wear a muzzle.

Can I use the tickets from the Stuhleck ski resort at Semmering?

Day tickets and multi-day tickets from Stuhleck can also be used at Semmering Hirschenkogel.

Can I rent ski equipment?

Ski and snowboard equipment are available at Sport 2000 Puschi and Alpincenter Semmering.

Is the Semmering ski resort accessible with public transport?

The Semmering ski resort is easily accessible by train. From the train station, you can reach the valley station on foot (about 20 minutes), by shuttle bus or taxi.

Can I use the NÖ Card for a free ascent and descent in winter?

No, the NÖ Card is only valid for a free ascent and descent during the summer season.

What is included in a lift ticket?

A lift ticket includes access to the chairlift and the cable car at Semmeringer Hirschenkogel, as well as use of the ski slopes and the toboggan run.

What is the difference between a regular ticket and a combi ticket for tobogganing?

Both tickets include the use of the lift and access to the slopes and toboggan run. The combi ticket also includes the cost for toboggan rental.

If I only want to go tobogganing, which ticket do I need?

You can buy a regular ticket. There is no difference between tobogganing and skiing – the same tickets apply to both activities. Simply choose the ticket type that best suits your needs.
