The Hirschi playground is located at the summit of the Hirschenkogel in the immediate vicinity of the mountain station and the forest ropes course. The Hirschenkogel cable car takes you up (lift ticket required) or on foot via the approx. 3 km long forest road. Admission to the Hirschi playground is free.
From various swings and slides to a large water play area and a ball track, there are countless great play options at the children’s playground. The wooden balls can be bought for two euros from the ball machine at the playground or in the mountain shop. There is also a nest swing, jumping and balancing equipment and a gold panning facility.
Wooden loungers, hammocks and benches invite you to linger and relax. The Panorama Restaurant Liechtensteinhaus with its large sun terrace is perfect for a little refreshment between meals.

The 2-channel gold panning facility is a highlight of the Hirschi playground and is located at the entrance to the playground in the immediate vicinity of the cable car mountain station. The sand bags can be purchased at the lift ticket office in the valley, at the vending machine in the mountain shop or from the Waldseilgarten staff for € 5 per bag.

- Choose a bag of sand
- Pour some of the sand into the gold panning sieve. Then hold the sieve in the water basin and move it back and forth until the stones appear
- Alternatively, you can use the gold pans to pan for gold. To do this, put some sand and water in the gold pan and rinse the sand to the edge using circular movements.
