30 Years of World Cup at Semmering Hirschenkogel

An unforgettable anniversary weekend at the AUDI FIS Women’s Ski World Cup 2025 is behind us. In the giant slalom, the home crowd celebrated a victory by Julia Scheib, with Camille Rast and Sara Hector completing the podium.

In the slalom, the world’s top athletes once again showcased their skills: Mikaela Shiffrin celebrated her 106th World Cup win, while Camille Rast and Lara Colturi completed the podium. Austrians Katharina Liensberger and Katharina Truppe secured fourth and fifth places, delighting the home audience.

World-class sport, great emotions, and a total of 15,500 visitors over the entire weekend made the anniversary a very special highlight at Semmering Hirschenkogel.

Among the prominent guests of the anniversary weekend were Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, Lower Austria Deputy Governor Udo Landbauer, Governor of Lower Austria Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Michael Duscher (CEO NÖ Werbung), Mariella Klement-Kapeller (CEO Wiener Alpen), Renate Götschl (President of the Styrian Ski Association), ÖSV Secretary General Christian Scherer, President of the Lower Austria Ski Association Wolfgang Labenbacher, Vice President Michaela Dorfmeister, HR Director Jürgen Kürner and STR FV Thomas Gasteiner(both Tourism Schools Semmering), District Governor Alexandra Grabner-Fritz, and Mayor of Semmering Hermann Doppelreiter.
